Student ePortfolio Goals:

The goals of the Wheaton College Student ePortfolio service are to provide a framework and repository that will support learning in and out of the classroom, as well as capture experiences in collaboration, communication and leadership. Participants will engage in a process that helps them to reflect as their education evolves and develop a dynamic portfolio that captures their accomplishments.

The Different Uses Of The ePortfolios:

  • capture and showcase important learning experiences, in- and out- of class, including non-traditional content such as performances and exhibitions;

  • make accessible (for students, their advisors and others, at various levels of detail) the outcome of student learning (product) and their reflections about the process; and

  • help students assess their technology skills and participate in optional credentialing opportunities.
